We had a great stay at this hotel. Best aspects included friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and amazing views from the window. The onsen was delightful and easy to access. Location was convenient for visiting different onsens and hotel facilities were useful.
Didn't dislike anything about this hotel.

The property was beautiful, with large and nicely furnished rooms, and a lovely communal space. The communal onsens were amazing and included a few options with different sizes and privacy options. It was fun to try them all out and choose our favorite. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area and visiting nearby onsens.
While everything was nice and comfortable, it would have been helpful to have clearer instructions on the use of the shared onsens and the private onsen across the road. there was no shower in the room, and the shared shower could be inconveniently busy at times.

We had an amazing stay in a comfortable, well-equipped room with a stunning view of autumn leaves. The location of the hotel was perfect - easy to get to and offering access to multiple onsen. The staff was friendly and accommodating, offering helpful services like luggage storage and transportation. The communal space was also beautiful. Plus, the in-room kettle, fridge, and microwave made our stay even better.
There was no shower in the room, but the communal showers and private onsen more than made up for it.

The shared shower was the only time I felt clean. Great access to multiple onsen, so you can choose what works best for you. the communal space was enjoyable with a lot of room to stretch out.
The lack of shower in my room was highly inconvenient, and the shared shower only opens from 6 to 9 am which made it hard to find the right time. the room was outdated, and the beds were uncomfortable, but that was not that big of a deal.

The value for money was exceptional, with a room that was very comfortable and stylishly fitted. The onsen across the road, which was included in the price, was absolutely amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful and even provided free pickup and drop off services. The attention to detail, such as the yukata and pyjamas, added a nice personal touch to my stay. Additionally, the hotel's location allowed for breathtaking views of the autumn leaves from my window.
Not a single complaint.

I had such a lovely time at this hotel! the location was absolutely perfect, nestled in the beautiful Kurokawa Onsen village with stunning surroundings. The hotel garden was like something out of a fairytale, and the open sky baths were simply gorgeous. Secondly, the room itself was incredibly comfortable and had a luxurious feel to it. I loved the traditional wooden design, and the view of the autumn leaves from my window was breathtaking. And lastly, I cannot praise the breakfast and the service enough. The breakfast was fit for a king, and the staff were faultless - they even offered a shuttle service to the bus station. All in all, an amazing place to discover and definitely worth every penny.
Everything was absolutely fantastic, no complaints whatsoever.
